Homo Vitruvious is part of my weeks-long development of a revised and renewed presence as a writer on the web and social media. I thought I’d offer a quick post with all that information so that all those interested (you, of course!) can find and join me wherever you care to roam - no place more important to me than right here on the Substack: Homo Vitruvius.

A note of explanation about Twitter. I was on the platform for fourteen years by the handle of @thesadredearth, the name of my old blog dating back to 2008. I left Twitter immediately on Elon Musk’s acquisition of it. That is sufficiently explanatory. I proceeded to join a number of other hopefully competitive soical media platforms. Yet I had been using a dormant account I had managed for someone else, which I had not closed, as a continuing window on the unnatural disaster in Muskovy and to continue to read various news sources that hadn’t left.
