I have been raising my voice publicly against Donald Trump since 2015 and writing to warn against him since 2016. On Twitter, I tweeted a reminder every day for the first four months of his administration that through his continued ownership of the Trump International Hotel in Washington D.C., which earned income from those, foreign and domestic, doing business with the U.S. government, Trump was in violation of the Constitution’s emoluments clause.
